Fryette LXII versus Synergy SYN-505?

I have both and have used them with the Axe 3, I would take the LXII over the 5050 for an AxeFx because the LXII has a transparent mode where you can disable presence and resonance for a flatter response which is intended for modelers. The 5050 is generally the darker/warmer of the two (it is well voiced for the Synergy modules, in that regard, LXII can get harsh quicker and the presence is not adjustable once the trim pot is set and the unit is racked) and the LXII has slightly more clarity. They're extremely comparable but the LXII would get the nod for use with a modeler, IMHO.

That was what found as well when I had them both.
