I've been in a fusion mood and listening to john scofield and larry carlton lately and stuff....

So I did some jazzy / fushion thing with my kiesel zeus guitar and fractal fm9. I love the thickness of it, almost semi-hollow sound...

Volume on guitar like 75% down for the cleanish parts and then I step on a drive and slight stereo tape delay and studio reverb, then a quick trempan at the end...

haha yes, how did you know!! It's the "cork sniffers" preset on the HRM Mid scene but changed a little.

Yea the mix is like purposely underwhelming. I was thinking maybe the recording is one of the players in ears feed except I can’t figure out which one. It doesn’t even work for that purpose. The drummer maybe?

Ugh my FM9 just froze for some reason? Was only a patch in like the 40% cpu range, shouldn't have froze...

Yeah the latest one. You think maybe that had an issue with it? FM9 has also been on for about 4 hours, but that shouldn't cause it to freeze?

yeah factory one, something like 139 i think, some flanger one. Suddenly noticed I can't do anything on the editor or fm9 hardware. Rebooting fixed it but still...

I wonder if you can recreate what you were doing when it froze.
Maybe a glitch that may never occur again or a bug in the system.

Yeah I mean it can freeze just on its own (as all digital gear can do) but you just add in a tiny bit more of a chance on a beta

I actually don't recall my helix floor ever freezing in the last 9 years lol.

However I understand, but if it becomes a thing that happens to often then maybe cause for concern!

I like this JS SATCH preset I downloaded.

Kiesel zeus guitar into fm9 on bridge pickup, although I was trying to mimic joe satriani type vibe... I think I got some eric johnson vibes going on too lol.

I wouldn't stress too much. If it goes though you are covered by warranty
