Fractal Talk

I think it’s a third party Fractal editor. From what little research I’ve done you have to get some Bluetooth dongles or something to make it work. Ive considered trying it but I’ll just wait for an official solution.

But that is seemingly exactly what is needed. I don’t even care if it’s Bluetooth, I’d take a tethered tablet editor. AxeEdit on a tablet would be dope.
Only for wireless...

For wired, you might need a camera connection adapter in some cases, I think.

With my iPad Pro I use a standard USB B->C cable.

Yeah to my knowledge the only thing that models the MK V is the ML Sound Lab ML5 plugin. I have no idea how authentic it is to the real amp but it does sound good.

It's questionable how relevant the MK V is though since it's kind of a "lots of amps in one" type product and in the digital realm we already have all that without compromises.

It’s actually one of Amplitubes better emulations IMO. Kind of funny how they have IIC+,III, IV and V and some unlicensed models on top. Haven’t used the ML one a great deal but I generally don’t rate their emulations more than a quick “close enough, that’ll do” type approach.

Regarding Axe Edit vs Helix Edit/Native, I do find myself having to click significantly less in Native than I do with Axe Edit. So many pages and things to activate/patch etc. Helix feels a bit more streamlined to me, with the caveat that it’s also trying to do less and they have the possibility to organise and refine things further.

I just finished yamming on the 5153 100S Red, and the word "snarl" is front and center in my mind--the amp sounds like it's gnashing its teeth. It sounds meaner than my physical 5153 50S, but I'll have to try matching them at some point.

The only people I block here (two) are a couple of pretentious know it all pricks. :rofl
