I kind of wanted to demo Fullterton just to see what its like in plugin format, but I just know I wont buy it based on the amps.

What’s the justification for theft of music software then? Would there be valid justification for someone to steal from any other business? or for people to steal from you?

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I would literally not be the same person I'm today if it was not for piracy. I learned english by pirating Friends and South Park episodes. Before Spotify, the only way I could have access to a Tribal Tech record was to pay gobs of money for an import - which I could not afford - or to download it off Napster. It's been quite a few years, I've made it right where I was able to and haven't pirated anything in about two decades. *edit: thinking a bit more, when it comes to music, pretty much everything I love I first discovered through piracy.

One thing I'd pirate today though. For years I've been trying to actually buy the update for my 11R through every way I could imagine. Recently I've went to the official forum and asked if they could hand it for free with a warning that, if the update failed, it would be on the user for being a legacy product. No answer. I don't think it's ok the only solution is to get another unit. If a pirate version of the update was handed to me I'd use it.

I spent 20 minutes with the trial mostly on the super reverb vibrato. It sounds really good. I also tried the 6g4 super and that sounds great. First things I noticed are that the power amp breakup sounds really good and natural, and that this is the first time I have been able to really hear what the sag knob does - sag in helix seems to make little to zero difference to me but it was immediately noticeable in the fractal plugin. I also appreciate the bright cap value knob, that is a very useful control, moreso than the vague secondary controls in helix, like ripple and hum and bias/x, which I will try to tweak and still be unsure what they are doing or whether I should have even touched them. I will have to spend some time comparing to helix native but right off the bat the fractal super reverb is better than the helix super reverb to me. This free trial is probably going to make me buy an AM4 when they’re back in stock.

True story. Now movies are pirated and in a matter of hours there's already subtitles on every language you can imagine. Early on it was not like that. I had a very very basic understanding of English through school and got better vocabulary by reading a lot on the internet. My listening comprehension was basically zero, then piracy started and watching Friends and South Park without subtitles really made me actually be fluent.

I haven't watched the video yet but with my Silver Sky on the neck pickup, the FAS DR breaks up around 3 (Vibrato channel) which I don't love. Not sure if that's accurate
