This was the test recording I did last night that I forgot to post. Using plex delay and now forgotten which reverb I used argh lol. Getting old sucks 
Kiesel Zeus guitar with gk-5 hex pickup into boss vg-800 with a guitar p90 version and a PB bass mixed 50% lower in the mix but together for a thicker baritone/jazz like sound into the fractal vp4 and recorded stereo.
Geez it sounds so beautiful to me

I was surprised when you said they suck. None of them are really my exact tastes, but there’s a lot of good stuff in there I think especially with regard to what it is capable of and sparking some ideas.

Well more or less was meaning the same thing as you as in "good stuff but not really my exact tastes" type thing. A few I liked a bit that show cased the more ambient stuff, but once I went back through them again and especially after setting my vp4 for stereo, it was a better outcome

Here's another one for you all and sharing my preset! It's called Spationaut (brockstar). Nothing fancy, no channels or scenes yet anyway.
Volume swell in 1st block, 2nd block has a MTD quad tap delay, 3rd block has a pitch block using crystal echoes which needs a expression pedal in pedal 1 to use. Expression pedal in the up position is a deep and wobbly echo type thing and Expression pedal in the down position results in some brighter and bouncy echoes, and 4th block is reverb using cloud, cirrocumulus.

VP4 is a God Tier effects pedal for anyone that dabbles with ambient tones. Not really a close second imo.

Is anyone using the VP4 with an amp that needs channel switching? It doesn't do amp switching without additional hardware right?
Was just thinking about how useful that could be, to have Fractal effects plus amp switching and do that with scenes. But would need another piece of hardware there...

That's what I love about my MKVII, midi-controllable channel switching using the VP4 (as well as reverb and GEQ on/off). So cool and easy to set up, too.
But yes, the VP4 doesn't do old-school channel changing, unfortunately. Maybe that's something they'll add with a VP8...

- NEW BLOCK MOVE FEATURE
On the home page in FX Mode, select the desired block, hold the ENTER button, and turn SELECT to move.
