Why not both? You guys get enough amps with your damn FM9s, FM3s, and AXEIIIs… just let us have this, please.
What if it’s TWO new products? FX and Amps in separate units. Get the Fractal bits you want, or go all-in with an FM3/9…
Level 3 gives you a tuner, but you have to buy level 2 first.FM4 Level Two upgrade adds amps for an extra $179....
Maybe that’s why it’s not out yet. Cliff saw the Kemper reaction…FM4 Level Two upgrade adds amps for an extra $179....
THIS WILL HAVE AMP MODELING . There is no sense in an effects only unit. And I’m willing to die on this hill.
Where did you want your ashes scattered? Or do you prefer burial? That latest picture which finally looks like it wasn’t shot on a potato -
Why does an FM4 have stereo inputs ? And no XLR out ? Is it… actually an efx unit ?
The unit is not intended for direct FOH, its a 4CM only for you amp, You do need to own a real tube amp in order to be able to use the unit! That latest picture which finally looks like it wasn’t shot on a potato -

You could just as easily use it with an amp modeler or profiler...The unit is not intended for direct FOH, its a 4CM only for you amp, You do need to own a real tube amp in order to be able to use the unit!
Helix Native does not seem to hurt Line 6.I actually hope they never release a plug-in version. I think it would undermine their hardware and open them up for piracy.
It’s always “the next generation” with you. Its on repeat. This doesn’t look like a serious product without those outs. It’s a $$ grab from cliff to fund the next gen fm/axe
Why would you need XLR outs for an effects-only unit? This doesn’t look like a serious product without those outs. It’s a $$ grab from cliff to fund the next gen fm/axe
Yea baby you too will buy the next gen
Why would it be priced above the FM3? That makes zero sense.Given what Cliff said its capabilities are in full-rez mode .... and not eco-mode ... its probably got some very-serious horsepower in it so I'm revising my price to somewhere between US $1099 to US $1299

Why though? Could it not simply be equal or just under the FM3 and still be able to do Ultra-High quality reverbs and such, considering it doesn't do amp modelling?Im thinking it could be a unit that even if it is efx only, could eclipse the power of the FM3T by a fair bit (?)
