Kinda, maybe interested if it's an FX4. But it has to be priced right - and the HX Effects is doing well at the moment on my board. So maybe not. Waiting for the hig reveal

Cliff also publicly stated that the FX8 didn't have much success so I doubt they'll release something similar

I think another reason why this is an effects only unit. Cliff may see an opportunity to add in an effects only unit but still doesn't see it selling like hot cakes therefore the team doesn't expect a wait-list

That actually gets me excited... if this has a nice touch screen and spdif in/out then it could be the desktop friendly Fractal version of a QC that I've always wanted. FM3 was pretty good / great but a touch screen would be cool for hands on tweaking, and adding spdif IN would reduce cables compared to the FM3 that only has spdif OUT.

Not a huge delay/reverb guy but they work fine for me. Especially the delays. The HX has some really cool delays. imo

I really wanted to like my HX Effects but there were a few issues:

Added noise to my signal path that couldn't be gated (which is weird by HX Stomp didn't)
8 switches but only 4 snapshots
Editing was a pain with only scribble strips and no screen

The power of the FM3 would be killer on a board, but the size of the FM3 and only 3 switches is more difficult to manage. So a more compact unit with more switches would be awesome.

So run analog drive pedals into say the Friedman IR-X (or an amp), then running the FX4 for post-effects after (or in the loop). Would be pretty sweet.

kinda looks like? you would have to think they would try and use the same housing if they could (for cost reasons). I hope not, the FM3 is too big
