Yeah, it's a step in the right direction for sure. I'm curious how/if they'll implement that kind of design ideas into the newer stuff. On the AM4,
Add Amp block, select the amp you want - boom done.

You said it right the first time. Different tastes. And as noted above, the AM4 considerably simplifies things. I often started with factrory presets on my FM9T, too, though. Which was easy and worked for me.Pull up an amp, then exit the amp block, then add a cab block, then connect the cab block to the amp block, then open the cab block, then open the list of cabs, then find the one you want, then exit the cab block, then add a reverb block, then connect the reverb block, then open the reverb block, then select a reverb, then close the reverb block, then add a tremolo block, then connect the tremolo block, then open the tremolo block, then select a tremolo, then close the tremolo block, then connect an output block, then play.
Need to adjust the EQ and the reverb level and the tremolo depth?
- Open the amp block, then adjust what you need, then close the amp block, then open the reverb block, then adjust, then navigate to the tremolo block, then adjust.
TMP - Pull up a Deluxe Reverb, then play.
Need to adjust the EQ and the reverb level and the tremolo depth?
- Tap on the amp, adjust everything you need.
Again, not a huge deal, not that I think the Fractal is bad, but a little QOL thing I enjoyed about my time using the TMP.

On a side note, people saying that AM4 is much easier than FM3 are actually not telling the truth
It's literally the same design, same options. It's just shows a giant AMP on screen
Cab block being on the same block as an amp don't make much difference, the workflow on FM3 is great, the issue of "option paralysis" is still there, you have 70 plus options only in the amp block... it's not like them are not encouraging people to tweak.
It's a tradeoff I guess, you get best amp modeling but you also can spend 3 or 4 hours tweaking and not playing. Most people will forget to boost their hi gain amps though, those who never owned a fractal product

The FM3shares the same form factor as the FC6. The AM4 and the VP4 share the same form factor.Fractal FM3 Mark I non turbo was supposed to cost 699 but they used the same form factory of VP4 and reduced options instead
Now I am not an industrial designer but saying the FM3 is in the same chassis as the VP4 seems to suggest you may need to consult an opticianFractal FM3 Mark I non turbo was supposed to cost 699 but they used the same form factory of VP4 and reduced options instead
Yep I am guessing that’s what he meantThe FM3shares the same form factor as the FC6. The AM4 and the VP4 share the same form factor.
