Hopefully....I'm going to eat some crow (Fender Tonemaster Pro content)

Came REALLY close to phrasing that "Giving the Mustangs a BJ," but knew that would just make it way too easy.

It makes sense if the goal is to attract Blues Junior owners to the TMP, but that in itself seems a bit of a stretch. Putting a BJ in the Mustang amps, however, WOULD make sense. Makes you wonder just how much the corporate bean counters at Fender are influencing the TMP road map.

...yeah I'm not going to buy that conspiracy theory. I've got the little Mustang Micro headphone practice amp which sounds pretty decent for $100 but it doesn't sound or feel anything like the TMP.

Just going purely on development, Fender has put out massive updates every six months or so since launch. I'd put them ahead of everyone outside Fractal and Line 6 for ongoing support at this point.

What conspiracy theory? There’s no good reason to include a fucking Blues Junior in a flagship modeler.

I'll point out that way back in the day the freakin' Cyber Twin had presets for:

Deluxe Reverb
Twin Reverb
Super Reverb
Princeton Reverb
Tweed Bassman
Vibro-King

But in addition to those that the TMP got (some on release, some not), it also had these:
Champs (a few variants, including VIbro-Champ)
Tremolux
Tweed Twin
Bandmaster
Vibrolux Reverb
Prosonic
Hot Rod Deville

And more. So I guess somewhere along the line they decided people in the market for a flagship modeler really didn't need those irrelevant amps and were really clamoring for Blues Juniors and Bassbreakers. And a "blonde" DR that's really just a model of a modeler that is a DR with a bright cap mod and a different speaker (those should be settings, not an additional model).

Really showing pride in their storied legendary blah blah blah...
