Fender Tone Master FR-10 and FR-12 FRFR cabs

It only makes financial sense if you are buying used noisy FR-10's or you want two separate units for stereo or stage coverage reasons. That said musicians and good financial sense don't necessarily go hand in hand.

That comes as no surprise.

Two FR10s = $1200.00. Two archangel preamps = $260.00. You've got $1460.00 in your two-FR10 rig. If you've gotta have two - and you've had to spend extra money and time modding them - you could instead have bought a powered monitor with enough SPL output to keep up with a band and have real money left over. You can get a killer monitor for less than $1460.00.

Two FR10s are easy to move and also help to get a stereo setup on wider stages. Also gives me the option to use just one for quick jams.

Those are the reasons I came up with after buying one and realizing it can’t keep up. All the 1000W b.s was just b.s. After buying one, I just had to bite the bullet and get the second one. They do sound really good though, second to only my CLR that stays put in the studio.
