I tried it in my cover band, I found that I had to have the output of my Lion pedal full up, and had the FR12 on at 2 oclock, had to have the cut quite high, it got brighter the louder I turned it, and it also didnt have the headroom of my Fender Tonemaster Twin amp on its 40w setting on 4.Highs and lows are more pronounced at higher volumes. That’s why people usually suggest building presets at performance volume. But, that’s also what the cut switch is for, tailoring your output for the room without messing with your direct tone. I have no idea what the actual output power is, but the FR12 is fine for a loud drummer in my case.
