EVH Hypersonic (version of the FR12)

IIRC it's louder when using a balanced input versus an unbalanced input
No. That never happens. This misconception is as widespread as it it is wrong. System gain has nothing to do with maximum volume. If a system really does have more gain when you use a balanced input - no competent inupt design will ever cause this - it just means that it will require a stronger input signal in order to reach its maximum output. That's all.

And the shitty plastic box brand would still fare perfectly well in a proper abx test.

I only mentioned one plastic box. The turbo sound is wood. Not that it matters. Go swap your cars hood out for a wood one and see if your alternator reads different.

I await the lovely Jack in the Box surprise pikachu face when the "wood" advocates find out what they are actually calling "wood"

You clearly haven’t heard sixth graders speak in a while. Honestly, if you asked my sixth grader “what kind of lame name would people my age give a guitar speaker cabinet” these are the ones he would come up, and he would make me feel terrible while explaining why we would come up with names this lame. Or maybe my kid is just an asshole. He did learn from me, after all….
My 8th grader would name everything, "Slay". Or possibly, "Bruh". :idk
