EVH Hypersonic (version of the FR12)

Sorry to bump this.
Given a few places in the UK have these on a good deal at the moment and stupid name aside I prefer the look of this in Ivory to the FR12
Is there any reason to avoid this vs the Fender. The differences are purely cosmetic aren’t they?

Cosmetics and the treble and bass pots are in opposite positions. Otherwise the same.
