Do Your Animals Like Your Playing?

She didn't care much for my progressive stuff, but seemed to enjoy the occasional Motorhead riff.

It used to be occasionally (even though I didn't word it that way), but now he does it every single time I'm playing! I'd really love to know what's going through his head when he does this. He's not begging; he just lays down, and rests his head on my left foot. Maybe he's doing it more often cuz I'm getting better...? :idk
My cat...

He will be sitting in the chair on a blanket, or up on his perch next to the window, for hours while I sit at my desk doing whatever. But the minute I pick up my guitar and start playing, he comes over and lays across one of my feet!

Whenever I would set up my pedals and amp and would begin to play my second to last dog would walk over and lay on top of my pedals and refuse to move. Been 22 years since he passed and still can't figure it out.🤔

my poor old dog did NOT. he'd leave and go as far away as he could (usually the mud room at the back of the house). when he had enough hed bark until i stopped. he also hated the stereo. i loved him a bunch, but biy did he get the wrong human. when he passed this last june i didnt play for a week to honor his memory. but its gotten much louder around the house since :D

I've mentioned that my cat loves it when I break a string, and will even come running when he hears one snap. Good ears!
So after I replace it, I'll play with him with the old string. He goes nuts!

Well just now he got me. I didn't keep a safe enough distance, and he went to grab it, and his claw landed in my finger! But it was STUCK! I yelled out (cuz it fucking hurt), which scared him, so he's pulling back from me, as I'm trying to grab his paw so I can get his claw unhooked from my finger!! :facepalm

Then he goes and cowers, thinking he did something wrong, so I had to console him to hopefully let him know it wasn't his fault! :hugitout

I wonder if he'll ever want to play with a guitar string again. Although he doesn't seem to have a very long memory. :rofl
