I had an itch to make something like this for a little while now but since I'm thinking about actually leaving the house with some of my gear this year I thought I'd whip something up this morning.
I used some scrap wood laying around for the sides, and have a bunch of leftover laminate flooring planks that I used for the tiers. Secured with construction screws with the top tier at an angle to see the Stomp better, and to make airspace for the BAM200's fan on top.
The BAM has some air holes on the side so I drilled some air holes in the side of the wood box to help air flow more freely. The BAM itself is only wedged in between the wood pieces and comes out only from the front.
Made a little patch cable that fits just right and it's ready for prime time!
Add the Lekato wireless and Paint Audio MIDI Captain/MIDI Mate and now I have a small wireless amp+FX rig! The soft padding on the bottom of the laminate planks make for smooth landings on tables and tolex.
