He did this last time too, with the AX8. It's just the way things work. I doubt YGG is going to go "Oh no's, Fractal is coming out with something after the FM9!"
ya but remember how long the Ax8 took to release , If I recall he posted a picture out it. saying " I am just going to leave this here "
and it was a good year prior to them releasing it , then the wait list .

He also stated the is lots of of software development left to go , and there won't be an announcement coming anytime soon
since soon generally means month to 6months , I think earliest we can assume to see a product release in mid 2026 , we might get other little hints from time to time but for the waiting list sign up I suspect its a while , and likely AmpX will be out first and NDSP will have made it to porting plugin 14 out of 18

Won't lie—an unintended benefit of us not knowing (and by extension, not sharing) an exact Stadium XL shipping date is that competitors can't ramp up their marketing gorilla the day before our launch.

It's kinda shitty when companies do this, but I get it. We knew about Fender's Tone Master Pro a couple of months before launch and had zero interest in trying to step on their toes. We also knew about Axe FX III like 6, 7 months before launch. Some of our ME/EE team went to China and took a group photo with a then-unreleased Powercab. That same photo happened to show an empty Axe FX III chassis lurking in the background, which is pretty lazy and crappy on the CM's part. Our team didn't even see it that day; we only noticed it when zooming in on the photo later.

EDIT—Proof (potato quality on purpose):

Oh, we left plenty of surprises and easter eggs in there.

so wait there is stuff you didn't tell us about in 1.1?

Well…here I thought I was going to knock off the day dreaming and get something done today.

I haven't been getting anything done because I keep refreshing this and TOP to see if there's any more news — though DI's mid-November-ish timeline seems most plausible to me, especially with folks reporting shipment recalls.

One of the initial goals of Helix Stadium was to notably improve absolutely everything, kinda like how we improved everything from POD HD500X to Helix. A ton of minor features, UI tweaks, shortcuts, and QOL improvements don't exactly make for compelling marketing bullets to the masses; they're more like "I got you, fam" items for geeks who nit-pick everything on gear forums instead of actually playing guitar. Y'know, my kind of people, for better or worse.

/okay, probably worse

Maybe L6 should just post some tips on how to tweak Dynamic Hall which I do think sounds great...but maybe for that last 5%

In fact a series from L6 on Reverb would be great.

I agree with this.

Or even an unofficial video on recreating x or y sound similar to the ones Igor did with Archetype tonematch videos a while ago.

While I don't know that he nailed the sounds, the vid JNC did a few years ago trying to recreate Flint sounds on the Helix is a good example of this:

Side note: I do think the Focus Views will revitalize the reverbs for a lot of people. imo the "no bad settings" factor that comes with a simplified interface is a big reason why a lot of "worse" reverb pedals can be perceived as better than more complex ones, and I think focus view will give a little bit of that effect.

I found another cool video!

I don't want to accuse him of having malicious intentions, but it is a little conspicuous how Cliff chooses the timing and content of his comments about the next generation of Fractal devices. In any case, he has already been successful with Deadpool.

Cliff sounds like a pretty smart guy. I mean he knows that the stadium is being released soon and I’m sure he’s not lying when he says he’s working on his next fractal release and he sees what other people are releasing and of course he’s got a kind of one up it so to speak.
I mean anybody with a brain who doesn’t wanna buy both units. We just hold off on the stadium until next year and see what fractal releases. I mean I know there’s a lot of guys on both these forums that have unlimited funds and they just buy everything but most people are not like that they don’t want Two or four different modelers. They just want one that encompasses most of what they need.
Lotta guys use modelers and don’t want a paddleboard so of course they want tones any effects within the model or that give the most versatility and the most quality and that’s debatable between the units of course but it seems fractal is more ultra professional and ultra unique and maybe that’s because it’s not available at guitar centers and musicians friends But line 6 has always seemed to be more middle of the road because they release so many different products at different price points I mean they’ve done guitars they’ve done modeling amps they’ve done small modelers. They do wireless little plug-ins for the modelers which on one hand is cool and good Because they’re trying to garden our business from all different people and that have certain amount of money to spend, but at the same time, it could be a jack of all trades master of none situation.

I’m sure you guys have a lot planned with the stadium and rightly so because you’ll have 10 years at least to add features revamp stuff and keep it going, which is great. I think I’ve never seen a company do it like this before and I think it’s amazing as far as Keeping the same hardware for 10 years and just redoing all these software over and over I’ve only seen one synth company cord do this with the Kronos, which is why I still have my Kronos two sent but I upgrade constantly to the latest Kronos stuff so I don’t need to go out and buy new hardware
Most companies probably like fractal I’m not really into what their timeline is, but will revamp hardware every 35 years. It line 6 is keeping the same hardware which it probably built up to begin with enough to last at least 10 years in the scheme of technology.
But that track record is also on all the more reason why buying it when it’s released and maybe not having all those features isn’t really that important to a lot of people and isn’t even necessary so you could wait six months to a year and then by the stadium to see what kind of advancements it has versus when it was released and the cool thing is, it’s available at all the guitar centers, musicians, friend, etc. and those particular two companies always offer 15% off at certain times of the year so my point is there’s no real rush to go out and get it because when you get it originally it’ll have that cool touchscreen but it won’t even have all the amazing advances that our plan for yet

True but putting this in perspective it appears you already spend $400 in Vitamins and Herbal supplements every few months
You have 10 acoustic guitar
A hot tub , and a pharmacy
So complaining about unlimited funds and people by both seems a little off brand
