Boss VG-800

Ah. Thanks. Sorry

A slightly cut back version of the SY-1000,
but with a few new guitar models from the VG-8, and a GT-1000 amp & effect section + 16 custom I.R slots.

But the great thing about the VG-800 and the new GK Serial eco-system (uses a TRS jack guitar cable which carries 8 channels of digital audio in both directions),
is that multiple GK Serial processors can be daisey-chained with a TRS jack patch between,
not only does it carry the multi string + normal guitar signal to all units,
but the audio output is also shared along the comon digital buss,
so one unit can output a mix of all of the daisy-chained units, no need for an outboard output mixer.

Plus no more GK 13 pin cable, just a regular looking jack plug type (TRS) cable to the guitar.

So a VG-800 and a GM-800 paired , both have the same footprint and color, and you can stack as many of those combinations (or more future units yet to come) as you want.

Nice on the daisy chained audio! Is he IR handling fixed or still questionable? I do really want an SY800 equivalent with the actual synth elements in it.

Not sure on the I.R loader, I would assume its all good.
One thing the VG-800 is missing is the Dynamic and PolyFx synth.
I do like the whole GK Serial and chaining thing, but will most likely stick with the SY-1000 & GM-800 combo for now,
unless I walk into my local music store and accidently trip over with the card in hand, having it scan a transaction terminal as I fall, and a shop assistant placed my just purchesed VG-800 in my hand.
