Unless there’s a modeler I’m not familiar with (I’ve used Fractal, Helix, Kemper, Atomic) and a recorder I’m not familiar with (I own an H4n Pro) that’ll do it via USB. Which would be odd, because the GT-1000 isn’t class compliant either, is it?
No, it's not class compliant from all I know (which is quite weird as the IR-200 is, has a special mode you can switch to).
Anyhow, for this to work at all, it needed a host device. All portable recorders are USB slaves, so are all modelers (apart from the KPA and Headrush being able to host USB drives, but that's for data transfer only). So that's enough for a "case closed" already, even if the GTs were class compliant.
