I was ready yesterday to build my Boss 200 pedalboard using all of the 200 series pedals .
When It suddenly dawned on me It can’t be done unless they are all laid out side by side or one uses a 8 pedal switching system.
Because of the sloping front angle they can’t be laid above each other 😡
I’m guessing people have probably already noticed this before 😳

Pedaltrain makes some lifts that will angle pedals upwards? Might be interesting to see how they sit. If you have a slanted board; you could flip the top row of 200 series pedals around so the switches are at the top? I'd probably just do side by side.

On any flat or slanted board it’s the same and even flipped you still hit the controls .
I’m a size uk size 8 and bigger feet would be worse.
I thought about using lifts but it angles the sockets on the back down to far.and you would still stomp on the pedal controls in front.
So it’s going to have to be a switcher or a side by side board .

I think side by side would look the best anyway (y)

I might just get a small studio Millenium rack and draws from Thomann and put them in that.👍

My SDE-3000d is the same shape and it works fine for me on the back row with lifts

Yeah same here but it’s going to be a task to find a wide enough board that doesn’t have lots of useless extra space above and comes in a case or bag ?

I use a pedaltrain Nano Max board, for use with keys. It's a 28" wide flat board, which wouldn't accommodate all eight of your DD series pedals.

It comes with a soft case.

I power it with a CIOKS DC-7, which fits perfectly :-).

Pedaltrain's Classic 2-tier series boards (like this Junior Classic) seem to have enough spacing in between the two tiers to be able to access the foot switches on the upper tier, without chaos ensuing.

I wear a U.S. 9.5 Men's shoe. If I had bigger feet, I suppose this could be an issue, but so far, it seems to work well.

The Classic Jr. is 16 inches wide, so the two tiers should be able to fit your eight DD pedals perfectly and there is space enough to accommodate pretty much any power supply. I"m u sing a PP3 Plus under this one.

I’ve decided to put them in a Millenium Steel rack on some Thon Rack draws which I already have in a cupboard.
I can stack it on top of my tall Millenium studio pedal rack 👍

Would love to see this Millennium Steel Rack. Sounds intriguing.

Is that the one you pictured previously, with the cool LED lighting?

I very much want to purchase seven 2-space rack (amp depth) drawers for use with a few of my existing rack-mount boxes, so I can store a bunch of pedals (that aren't in immediate use) out of the way, but extremely easy to access.

I'll be using an 8-space Road Ready plastic/metal shock mount amp depth case and a 6-space Grundorf wood/carpet-covered amp-depth case, that I've had for many years, which are just taking up space in my room, being under-utilized, these days.

I want high quality drawers (nice, smooth ball bearings, etc.), but have no idea which would best suit my needs without breaking the bank. I haven't priced this shit out in many years (I've purchased many rack-mount boxes, but never actual drawers to mount in them), so I expect to experience some sticker shock - but I expect these drawers to last me the rest of my life, so I feel the investment will be worthwhile.

They don't need to be lock-able, but that would be an added bonus, if the price isn't astronomically higher than non-locking ones.
