I know it can be hard but I'd say, if possible, commit to a rig (whatever it is) and just focus on it for a little bit.

I sometimes need to take my own advice but it sucks just endlessly chasing your tail and I know from experience

Really great sounding JVMs in the Fractal. Never let common sense get in the way of a gear purchase, though.

This is exactly what has kept me from picking up a JVM410. The Fractals are so good, even if he just reverted them back to the stock JVM. Plus I imagine the Fractal one has way less hiss. $1000 off… something rotten in the State of Denmark?

Yeah, you’re right. I’ll probably stick with the original plan with the VII. It is really tempting though. My only complaint with the VII is I wish it sounded like a Marshall

Maybe the new HX 2203 will be enough to cover that territory for me

I'd just save up for a Marshall style amp then. I know I'd be wishing I'd had a mesa sounding amp right after I sold the VII lol fortunately the Marshall sound is much cheaper than the mesa

And as you said, the HX might do the trick and a Marshall plugin/digital tone is much easier to accomplish

Neither. Use that money for the JVM, keep the VII, and go STEREO!! Get a Time Line, or something like that. OMG that would sound killer!
