My advice for the FM3 is to not build kitchen sink presets at all but "does a couple of things well" presets. Use the block library to be able to put your favorites on your other presets, or save a template preset you can copy around.I did hit the dreaded CPU limit once using one of the pitch block settings. I may need to craft a few presets that are relatively barebones for some of the more cpu intensive blocks, and then just have one master preset for the core tones.
If Fractal manages to add gapless switching to the FM3, then kitchen sink presets become even less relevant.
