It is a narrow spaced 510 with titanium saddles and a red bishop arm . Excellent bridge. You won’t find better,only different.

It’s a good idea from a functional standpoint and standard equipment on Aristides with a trem. I personally prefer the tone of the regular steel hook . I was surprised that you can hear the difference acoustically and the best acoustic tone matters.
The simplicity and directness of a piece of bent steel and two big screws in to the body are still the best option imo. Also how often do you actually need to adjust it?

Yes not often to adjust just looked like a fine piece of gear MiG quality is always fantastic, like MiJ Gotoh gear is simply amazing

The bridge is already at its lowest. In the past the foot of the bridge has been slimmed a bit already. I think a tech could take some more off to get the setup where I want it. (Truss works fine, neck is straight)

On the other hand…if a neck reset is inevitable anyway in the next 5 years…that option should be on the table.

Is it correct that with guitars like this the change of neck angle is a progressive proces?
Is there any way to predict its speed?…or might it be stable for 2 decades of the stars are right?
If I decide to go for a reset today…that could maybe be postponed for a decade…any additional risks on the table?

Fretwork Tools Question!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Whatever Time it is wherever you are, Andy.

I'm looking to up my fretwork game. Last time I worked on some fret ends I did an okay job but I want to do better and I know I don't have the proper tools to do so. I don't know if I want to go full-blown StewMac for everything but this is what I'm looking at getting so far:

Fret Beveling File:
MusicNomad MN831 Precision Fret Beveling File (B-File) - I see a lot of different files and different angles, with different methodologies from different people. What are your thoughts about bevel angle on fret ends?

Fret Dressing File:
StewMac Fret End Dressing File - this one seems like a no brainer?

Polishing:
3M Tri-M-ITE Wet & Dry Polishing Abrasive Paper by Jets 400-8,000 A/O Assorted 6 Sheets - I already have these, is 8,000 high enough grit? I've seen videos where folks go higher.

Anything else I should looks for? Alternatives to any of these that I should be looking at?

I think a steep angle is best because it preserves the maximum playing width but you need to dress the ends to a higher level because you will be able to feel them more. Both those tools are fine and 8000 is more than enough.
