When you buy new effects pedals ?

I gave up on that shit a few years ago. I ain't got space for that, and I don't thin I've ever gotten more money flipping a pedal because I had the box...certainly not more than a few bucks. If it's something that I'm going to need to ship and I'm at all worried about shipping it, maybe.

I never used to, but now that there are so many pedals out there and nowhere to really just try a lot of them out, I end up buying some just to hear what they sound like and keeping the boxes in case I want to get rid of them later. Anybody want to buy some pedals??

Box keeper here. If it has a box, I keep the box, including any instructions, cables, etc. I have a closet for guitar cases and my amp covers, with shelves for all the pedal boxes.

When it comes time to sell any pedals, I will include what it came with. In Japan, where I now live, it does seem to matter somewhat. However, I’m sympathetic to space issues.

You guys are buying stuff ?

I live in an apartment. Storage space is limited, so I'll only keep a new pedals' box for about a month, just incase I have to return it. I just don't have the space to store loads of cardboard boxes.
UK apartments are nowhere near as big as apartments in the US, or so I believe.

I only started a couple years ago when I started ordering Lovepedals every time they had a sale. I really never buy stuff with the idea that it’ll ever get sold, but they’re nice to have in case you do want to sell it.

Depends on when the apartment was made and what state it’s in, overall. Newer apartments are MUCH smaller and some of my apartments back in New England were bigger than my first house, but those were all built in the late 1800’s-1920-ish. Everything here in South Florida, apartment wise, is generally younger than 40 years.
