Only haters will say this isn’t the secret gift of tone

For me it has to be the Mimiq Mini, mono does nothing. I was going for a cheap road to the Geordie Walker tone. REALLY didn't do that job :facepalm

Wasn't the use case that you would run 2 outs from another pedal, one to one amp and the other to the Mimiq Mini at 100% wet to a second amp? I wouldn't think it would work well mono - wasn't it always supposed to be a stereo effect?

Yeah I knew I wasn't gonna get like-for-like with the sound, but I figured that kinda vibe was still attainable.

I tried the BBE stuff (Sonic Maxmizers (rack); but I preferred and always opted to go with Aphex Aural Exciter, because it felt more tune-able than the BBE equipment.

Actually, I had a 1401 Acoustic Xciter pedal for my acoustic set-up, that I picked up before I bought my first 104 rack unit. (And before going back to pedals LMAO). It actually worked very nicely and was easy to use. This was one of the pictures I took for the sale ad I ran on Craigslist (?) a zillion years ago.

I still have 104 and 204 units in some of my old racks (which I haven't used in years since converting back on over to dedicated pedals, several years ago). For some reason, I just cannot bring myself to part with all of that rack gear. I guess it's a nostalgic thing.
