If you lock the potentiometers on your stompboxes, how do you do it?

Remove the knobs and replace at 12:00 when you have your settings where you want. This might be troublesome to achieve on some pedals, particularly ones with two rows of pots.

Good point. I wonder if some pros do this to hide their settings from geeks.

My (even sort of educated) guess would be "no". I have talked to quite some "pros" myself over the years and there's gazillions of rig rundowns, too - pretty much never stumbled across anyone making a secret out of their pedal settings.

Well, I still think it's nonsense. And why would anyone even try to hide some pedal settings?
