Nothing like spreading chewing gum on boobs and pulling itNot exactly "right now," but last night I did strap on the V (that sounds weird )
and put on the Scorpions Lovedrive Album and played along. Man, what simple,
yet compelling, riffs and songs. I swear 7 of the tracks are in the key of Em.
There's also no upper fret access like Flying V upper fret access.
Kind of odd, at first, how little meat there is up that high.

Pity for people in the USA. Their puritan overlords deprived them of that vision.
I'm guessing you "played" that album a lot.
That bridge...it's a pal, when one needs a rest.
It's a lovely playing fiddle. So easy and fast. 1977, and I've had it since '95.Love these.
Nice strat!I’ve been really liking my SG lately and playing it but it’s just easy to knock out of tune. When preparing to start lessons, I pulled out the Strat because it stays in tune. I found that it just feels nicer. I think I’m just a Strat guy. The Strat offers more useful tones as well.

I kind of want a hardtail Strat though.
I’ve been really getting into clean and low gain tones lately.
I always lusted after one of those but was concerned about intonation issues.1996 Carving AE 185
Sounded good as always....never lets me down.

Also, truss rod cover and cavity cover, hand made by Bob at https://www.bobscustomplates.com/
These are curly maple I believe.
Not an issue at allI always lusted after one of those but was concerned about initiation issues.
Well, I wrote intonation but autocorrect changed it.Not an issue at all
Oddly, I read it as intonation.... didn't even notice.Well, I wrote intonation but autocorrect changed it.
I do tend to beat on my guitars. I should have grown up with an AE185. Maybe I’d have some finesse.Oddly, I read it as intonation.... didn't even notice.
It has a bone compensated bridge, while not perfect, it is close ...and for a 30 year old guitar, not bad.
This is one you can't ham fist though...you must be present at all times ...very touchy if you press too hard ...forces me to have a lighter touch, which is a good thing.
