What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

Last time my uncle was here he fell in love with some of the Lovepedals and he’s on the hunt for more pickups so I’m trying to push him over the edge because I know he’s sitting on Reverb right this second driving himself nuts. :rofl

This is straight, senseless noodling with plenty of bad notes. Bassman model in the Fractal, barely any dirt on it. The Tchula is on right away then at some point I switch the Dover, I think it’s kinda obvious when.

You're making me want a Tchula! The Dover drive sounds fat as hell too and I'd probably get one but I have 3 Butler's already.:roflHave to stop at some point!
 
I just broke a D string! Which means they're way overdue! This is the longest I've ever gone. Seeing a few more dimples on the frets of my Enchanted Forest Majesty. 4 years old. That's a lot of playing. D string at the 7th fret is the worst, but still only barely perceptible to touch, as I run the tip of my finger along the fret. I give it 2 more years.

I guess that's what ya get when it's the only guitar you ever play.

Wait, you haven't changed the strings in 4 yrs -- or do you mean you'll need a fret job in a 2 yrs?

These 2 are on the list, for sure, but I'm really liking another one a bit more. Wife's 94 year old uncle passed a couple weeks ago, we spent a week in San Antonio helping to clean things up (OMG I could talk about that for months) and we'll have some $$$ coming our way before long.

I was on the fence about the Crystal Methyst :grin version but the Spice Melange is like nothing I have, and it spokethed to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, and my FM9 waitlist email came back while we were there, so I'll add that to the buy list soon - as long as they don't kick me off the list for not buying right away. There was no fine print in that regard so I guess I'm good, may just have to wait a bit after ordering.

If you’re still in San Antonio or are getting back to it check out Lark Guitars. They have a few of the Majestys in stock. Along with a lot of other nice guitars.
