Too chuggy for my tastes, but sure looks rad, and probably is quite the player!
Awesome! Couldn't help but notice the bottle in the reflection... is this what you mean by chugs?
That's just BEAUTIFUL.I've been neglecting Ibby for too long. It is time --

Thanks! 1977. I've had it since '95.That's just BEAUTIFUL.
Vintage or new(er)?
I love the usual feel of the AR models. The neck size is really comfortable, yet neither thin or thicc.
Nice!!!! Sounds like lots of fun! Thanks! 1977. I've had it since '95.
Exactly-- the neck is almost a perfect shape and slightly wider at the nut. Effortless to play and the lowest action of any of my guitars. I have Dimarzios in it now. Humbucker from Hell and Steve's Special.

That's right! I'm sure we've posted this in here before.
Both of mine are nowhere near yours, as they're from 2010 (AR200 and AR250), but they're still great guitars, despite the Chinese factory)That's right! I'm sure we've posted this in here before.
Ibanez really nailed these back then.
What years are yours? I never tried any Artists that were past early '80's.Nice!!!! Sounds like lots of fun!
I have one that I keep in E Standard (sunburst, with a Les Trem II), and another in C Standard (wraparound bridge, pair of DP104, different pots/wiring, to get it as close to the Ovation Ultra GP as I could).
Both have their action way low and play like butter, with almost zero maintenance necessary in over a decade.
I'm sure they are, as long as they didn't stray too far from specs. Sleeper guitars. Both of mine are nowhere near yours, as they're from 2010 (AR200 and AR250), but they're still great guitars, despite the Chinese factory)
Yup, absolutely!!!I'm sure they are, as long as they didn't stray too far from specs. Sleeper guitars.
