Awesome Drew love it, Im sure you have the skillz and talent to do it just takes some dedication to learn I'm sure
Oh BTW where is the signature Pick throw at the end ?
That only happens when there’s success!

Well then I guess I wont be doing any Drew Signature Pick Tosses anytime soonThat only happens when there’s success!
This is all I’ve been doing for the last 48 hours.
I got a hair up my ass last week to learn something really challenging and since I’ve attempted this song numerous times in the last 30 years, I’m hellbent on actually following through with it. I’ve learned bits and pieces over the years but never once got further than the first 8 notes of the intro. That EJ is a darn tootin’ good guitar picker.
oh my... love that black binding against the cream. sexyThat 40th Anniversary Squier is a badass little git-fiddle. I am blown away by how fun it is to play.
The Satin/Rubbed Neck on it is . Not a bit of tackiness to it. Smooooooth!
@norminal was generous enough to hook me up with a set of Brass Saddles. I asked him for some Brass
Balls, but I guess I will have to wait for those. Thanks @norminal .
May the best of Coffee Beans continue to roll your way.
I am going to install the saddles today, and watch some grown ass men hurl themselves at one another.

Inspiring, dude. I really need to follow suit and force myself to do something I can't---until I can.
Can I ask why not the Old Man Strat? Just curious.
Things are only Impossible until there not !force myself to do something I can't---until I can.
The only think I dislike about a vintage style strat bridge is the wider saddle spacing. I have to change them out for a 2 1/16 spacing usually.the high E keeps slipping off the neck.
Changed my bass strings from flatwound to roundwound. Love flatwounds but feel like slappin' today.

Well today it rained most of the day so the wife wasn't barking out " we need to do this and we need to do that"
so i got in some much needed practice
Thanks. yes, short scale. I really love it. Very easy to play and simple setup. Only drawback is a slight neck dive because of the thinner body and the massive headstock. They could have made the headstock smaller lol?
Never played a Mustang Bass before. Short scale, I assume?
That is freaking gorgeous!
Yeah, my Gilmour Strat has the Callahm V/N bridge, which corrects that exact issue, In the case of my other Strat, the guy who put it together went a little HAM on the fret ends and took just a pinch too much off. I suspect he wasn’t a “grab ‘em by the balls’ type of player, the guitar showed up with 8’s and when I brought it up to tension they were just resting above the frets, totally what I’d expect for a setup on a 1” neck guitar.
My current struggle is this…Never surrender, duzie!
Oh i dont know about that I'm really struggling get the main SoloSee?! Pick throws are imminent!
