proceeded
Mental Jewelry. Then
Throwing Copper blew up and it was insane for them.
The whole East meets West spiritual vibe Ed had was really unique at the time. Jiddu Krishnamurti
and all that jive. It was refreshing back then, and not a cliche.
Pretty sure that is Jerry Harrison producing. You can hear the room, too.
I think the early 90s is a great combination of old school and new school production before the
loudness wars killed all dynamics and everything got both recorded and mastered so fucking hot
all the time.
They did an episode of
Unplugged and it really highlights how tight they were as a band at that time.
Now they are suing the fuck out of one another and the whole band has imploded. So sad.
