Barely managed to listen through but listened to the bass solo 3 times. Mohini Dey is just incredible. Howe is great, too, but as so often in trios, I'm missing the harmonic context when he's playing lines or soloing, which makes it sort of exhausting to listen to as you constantly have to listen "between the lines". I also often feel like that when listening to, say, the Aristocrats, but Govan oftan manages to display the harmonic contexts a bit better than Howe is doing (at least in this particular video).
But in the end, I may just like chords to be present in general.
