Yet the baseball hat is very popular and nobody thinks anything about that. I assume that a cowboy hat in Texas is also a fairly familiar sight.

If you look at a crowd and see a few people wearing hats, it's no big deal, but look at photos from pre-WWII and almost every man in a crowd will have a hat on.

Rewatched the 13th Warrior. First time in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. A good bit ahead of it's time as far as Vikings go to battle thing. We weren't normally doing that in 1999 whereas now you have a ton of options exploring that sort of storyline. I forgot about the movie but very much enjoyed it this go round.

Yes. That was a great scene. I had forgotten about this movie for the most part. I actually have it on VHS somewhere when I grabbed it from a Blockbuster that was closing? I think I have seen it all in it's entirety once or twice but I also feel like maybe I always end up snoozing once it gets much past that section so I made it a point to finish it out this go round. I am glad I did \m/

Started watching Ponies. basically; Game of Thrones Chick and some other gal using her very own Natasha Lyonne starter kit. Solid premise; good performances but feels very modern day throwback spy comedy cookie cutter. Mainly because of the gal doing the really obvious Lyonne impression. We'll stick it out and see how it goes.

Just watched a 2025 movie called "Bunny"! What a F'in trip. Total mayhem in the life of a New York street hustler named Bunny. Just when you think it can't get any more absurd (and hilarious), it does just that ;~))

Rewatched Open Range last night in honor of Robert Duvall passing. Excellent western.

Coming up on the end of S3 of Slow Horses. Awesome watching Lamb go fatal Home Alone on some bad guys LOL. I was just starting to think, I'm gonna miss this show when it's over - but apparently there's three more seasons!

And there are 6 further books so plenty of life left in that series. I love it.
