What are we watching now?

Started The Burbs last night. Um; it's ok? KeKe Palmer is fine and the supporting cast for the most part is good? Her husband was good on some UK teacher comedy back in the day but I feel like that role was written for him. He's like the weakling version of Hugh Grant? Not a fan of this guy in this show. No chemistry between the couple at all. Those quibbles aside; it's ok enough to see what it rides out and ends up being since we're this far in?

Watched Violent Ends flick last night on Prime Video. Southern crime flick about warring families with a truckload full of revenge thrown in. If you dig that sort of thing; this was great. Bit generic in the setup and a little hard to follow as far as who and how everyone is related but excellent payoff on the revenge side of things and some really good performances \m/

We switched our subscription over to Disney+ for a month or two. I am finally catching up on Andor season 2 and my wife and I are working through Only Murders In The Building. I am enjoying both so far. I think OMITB might be the first thing I have seen with Solena Gomez, and I think she's been pretty good.

Aight I was bigly on the haterade with knight of the seven kingdoms but I restarted and I’m into it now lol

FANTASTIC show. Glad you gave it a second chance!

Speaking of told y'all; been watching Schitts Creek. I was wrong. Has a light hearted vibe that somehow calls back to me to a scripted take on Curb. Maybe it's the trombone riff in the theme song? :ROFLMAO: Excellent performances and the children characters are great. Chris Elliot always reminds me what a treasure he is despite not being in near enough things :rofl

Colorado is having an alarming winter this year…. Next to no snow and have been having days in the 70s all winter…..

Yeah, with heavy snowpack in the Mountains still equaling a dried up Colorado River I can't
imagine the alarm bells going off from Colorado to California to Mexico about how dry this
Summer could be shaping up to be. :(

It's such an arid climate... and that snowmelt/runoff is vital for the Whole Basin, isn't it?

I think it all fell farther East. :idk

Yeah fire season isn't going to be good

Ironically, its snowing right now some wet fall insta-slush which is much needed. Then its going back up to the 60s this weekend...
