What are we watching now?

Finished the two seasons of Interview With a Vampire. It's not quite "Tom Cruise chewing the scenery" like the movie, but still pretty good!

Finished up Landman for the season. I think it turned probably the best way it could given the wife/daughter drama overload of this season. Next year should be good!

Started S2 of The Pitt. Same deal; hour of the day per hour of the show. So far; so good. I forgot how gross it can get

Found out there is a new season of Primal out with an interesting way to bring it back around. Cautious but optimistic

Man, Harlen Coben has a serious imagination. Good stuff.

Watched 28 Days Later Bone Temple last night. VERY surprised. Had a ton of heart which I did not expect. Nor did I think I wanted it; yet by the end I was very please in the directions they took. Last one was campy and frenetic and good in it's own way but this one really nailed some great notes along the way.

Watched The Outfit again last night. Great movie.

Binged "11.22.63". Meh. I like period pieces. I got to look at a bunch of old cars and hear some dated idioms. Check and check. Not quite as much historical nuance as I was hoping for.

Time travel stuff is almost always stupid and this was no exception. Several references to "the butterfly effect" followed by characters implausibly trampling all over the past. And then a hamfisted ending that amounts to, "Everything is going to suck one way or another, so let's just unmake the entire plot", which... Yes, obviously, but what have you been doing with my past 8ish hours??
