What are we watching now?

Really need some help gentlemen.

Only ever watched like 5-6 series in their entirety, and they were all incredible.

Sopranos
Breaking Bad
Californication
Game of Thrones
Friends
And something else. If someone mentions it I’ll be all about it.

EDIT: Black Mirror

Need something on this level, anything out there?

The Wire
Ray Donovan

The Wire. We have binged it to the 4th season and all of it still holds up really well.

Arrested Development seasons 1-3. Then you watch them 3x more to see all the jokes you missed on your 1st and 2nd watch.

Entourage was one of my absolute favorites and except for Friends, your list is the rest of my all time favorites.

Californication was the SHIT back in the day! Towards the end, it started to fall off though. The episode with Rick Springfield, Runkle, & Hank with the 3 strippers in his house after a night of debauchery was my favorite, I was laughing so hard I cried...

Maybe Boardwalk Empire? The Shield? MobLand? The Gentelmen? I finished The Last Kingdom a few weeks ago. It was not bad, better than I expected.

Went and saw the newest Jurassic Park jawn….. not sure what my thoughts are lol

Saw in 3D too!!!

I watched all 6 of the other ones again over the last couple weekends for better or worse

I guess this film was probably more fun to see in theaters than while at home 8 months from now lol. I had high hopes for ditching Pratt and I’ve had a crush on ScarJo since I was 10…

Idk. Good popcorn flick I suppose. No regrets

I believe this is my ranking

J1

J2 (barely)

J4

J5 J7 tied

J6

J3

Nothing even comes remotely close to the OG but I’m still a Sucker for a franchise lol

Watched Sinners on Max today.

Thought it was pretty excellent, very entertaining/enjoyable. Dug the blend of period piece/magical realism/horror

Watched a couple of random things over the holiday weekend.

Three O'Clock High---Haven't seen this in years. Very much a product of the Ferris Bueller years and very much better for that fact. If you dig 80's whacko coming of age flicks and haven't seen this; check it out.

Drop---Woman goes on first date after her abusive husband and all sorts of crazy stuff happens in the restaurant during said date. Shades of Lifetime rom-com aside; sleek little thriller that I quite enjoyed.

Better or worse than Summer School?

I can't honestly say. I haven't seen it in years but I do remember really liking it back in the day. I don't know how well it would hold up watching it today as far as being funny whereas Three O'Clock High had me laughing throughout. It was still good.

Watched this last night because you piqued my curiosity  I enjoyed it again for probably the first time in ATLEAST 30 years if not more. If I recall; it was a pretty big deal at the time? Watching again now struck me as a PG version of Porky's style comedy. Fairy corny but had some heart to it. I would say I preferred Three O'clock more just because it was a bit smarter in tone.
