I’m currently watching Better Call Saul with my 15 yo (after we watched Breaking Bad). Saul is great… it’s different but it’s really well done. Saul himself is great, and the side storylines (Mike, Salamanca, Gus) is awesome to. We’re only midway through, but it’s picking up well.
And, with my 11 yo: we’re watching The Chosen on Prime. I’m not christian or particularly religious (at all), but my son is interested in Christianity since they started doing religion in school, so he wanted to see The Chosen. It’s very good imo, very exciting and interesting. Kinda feel-good and slow at times and some episodes are tense and exciting.
My kid knows more about this than me so he sometimes pauses and explains characters and who they are and why… haha… what a smart little guy i managed to get out of my balls… or it’s all from mom.
And me.. i rewatched Old Boy 1 and 2 for the fifth time… that’s more my cup of tea. Tonight I’ll maybe fire up Interstellar before bedtime. My brain needs either utterly insane types of violence or mind bending sci-fi that makes my brain hurt.
