What’s your unpopular guitar take?

- Les Pauls look like grandma's end tables.
- Teles are even uglier than Les Pauls. Looks like someone got halfway through trying to grind that headstock down into a shiv.
- SGs are ugly too - they look like leftover props from a 1960's Batman set. (Never mind that I want all of them.)
- QC is killer, and all the other modelers wind up annoying me in one way or another.

One’s too weird to have endured so long, and the other too ordinary. :D I only own SGs because Tony Iommi.
LP looks so fucking cool though. Hill I'm willing to die on, make no sense ergonomically, weigh far too much, but look so fucking cool (I'm looking at you dirty lemon)

I LOVE Teles. Headstock included. Les Pauls look great on other people.
Tele's look like they just fell off the saw mill. :D

In all seriousness, all of these designs carry the weight of the artists who've played them over the past half-century or so. So I get why e.g. Les Pauls are considered attractive guitars. They've kind of defined what "attractive guitar" means in the first place.

Strats are the exception. Strats are objectively cool-looking and the ergonomics are flawless. So there. ;)
