I don’t need alcohol to play horribly on stage

Total pro move.WTF? Dude totally click-bated in order to flip the video around, making it about him
Yeah, when I started watching the video I was thinking, "Isn't this the YouTube guy who got onstage and couldn't play?"WTF? Dude totally click-bated in order to flip the video around, making it about him justifying why he played so horribly on stage in a recent live performance, blaming it on alcohol? What a narcissistic choad.
Now I remember why I don’t watch Music is Win content.
Dude has drain bamage from being hit in the head with a bottle.Yeah, when I started watching the video I was thinking, "Isn't this the YouTube guy who got onstage and couldn't play?"
A talented guitarist, trained in the arts of dive bar could've dogged that bottle 100%Dude has drain bamage from being hit in the head with a bottle.

Uh, not according to all those Chibson + other cheap MIC clone braggarts......On top of the crime of him stealing music & arrangements, that is a crime, right?
To steal someone's intellectual property (IP) then sell it for a profit.

Well why would it matter? He sold them shit with his smoke n mirrors BS and that’s how endorsements work.
And it’s not like Beato and his sig Gibson for example.
It’s low rent brands.
And I’m not even sure him stumbling across the frets all day at NAMM would matter either since most folks judge with their eyes not ears.
And if they actually noticed he shit the bed it likely would be harder to keep doing what he’s doing but I guranfuckingtee he will be back continuing the same shit
"Self-Taught and Oblivious to Theory" is my middle name.![]()
“Every time I pick up a guitar, it gives me such physical satisfaction. Playing funk is a direct exchange of good vibes”: Giacomo Turra’s energetic guitar skills evolved from his love of dance – and his self-taught style might just be the future of f
That Turra is self-taught and oblivious to theory is one of the biggest guitar flexes in history – but as he explains, playing funk is all about connecting with an audiencewww.guitarworld.com
Ok point taken. And I guess back in the day that usually wasn’t a thing. Why does it matter?
Because if don't do your homeworks you'll end up being represented by a scammer.
Not only the manufacturer have been lazy, magazines too.
You write this shit

and never took the time to, idk, see him live once and check if he's the future of funk for real?
That's crazy if you ask me.
Man, this guy's channel might be my least favorite of them all, but this was my favorite video out of ALL of them so far.
Fuck the miming bullshit, fuck the lack of imperfection. If this dude starts calling fuckers out I'll make 5 youtube accounts to like every vid 5x over from now on.
Edit- I laughed at the Hendrix tune thing, I'm pretty sure I've actually posted that performance before making fun of it.![]()

Oh wow.
All they'd had to do was watch any video of him.
I mean, sure, now that the cat is out of the bag, it's easy to come up with these kinda statements, but I simply never heard of the guy before this "scandal" (which IMO it actually even isn't - unfortunately it pretty much seems to be the "new normal"), so when this took off, I was watching some of his vids, and all I thought was: Why hasn't this been exposed earlier? Pretty much every video gives it away that he's miming (and I'm not talking about the videos that actually were meant to be mimed performances).
But anyway, as said, I only noticed him once the thing was published already, so I might've been biased when watching his stuff.
But a kinda reputable mag such as Guitarworld should defnitely check more carefully before writing such a hyping article. And they should have guys in their staff being able to instantly tell that this guy is just faking it. But instead they seem to go for "views are views". Which is a big part of the entire episode.
That’s a whole different conversation. The guitar rags or online guitar publications as they are right now are full of “writers” that don’t know the first fucking thing about guitar.Oh wow.

I go shake my fists at clouds.
