Best show ever!

I didn't toss my guitar, but had a drummer pass out mid song one time
on a New Year's Eve gig. It was a hometown gig and he had too many
people he knew buying him shots all night. I was just proud he hung
on until the last set. He was trying to hold it together until he fell face
first into his own kit and brought the show to a screeching halt. It was
epic and everyone loved it.

No one has good meter when our motor skills are forced to swim in
too much Alcohol.

Oh I had many a frustrated nights with my brother on stage -- he's a drummer, and he liked (likes) to drink. I never went that far like in the vid.
Close a few times though.

Don’t let that discourage you. We actually have a few drummers and keyboard players here. There’s a Synth sub-forum. Maybe the mods can add a percussion sub-forum.

I have been on a few gear forums. Maybe I am too green, but this forum seems of the cosy kind. Are you guitar players not supposed to be a bunch of competitive Eddie Van Halen wannabees turning your guitars into Willy enlargements with loads to ego-clash and argue about? Or maybe it is just my prejudices that never have left the 80s? Hmmm. Maybe the primadonnas are synth players now a days? My experience could certainly fool me. Anyway, I am sneaking a little around reading random threads, and so far it seems peace- and cheerful.

I swear our little gaggle of brothers is fueled by Pickles. I often buy a Jar and bring
them to practice and by the end of the night that jar is nothing but brine. Any kind
works. Spicy. Sweet. Tangy. Dilly. Maybe it is because we are also athletes and the
lactic acid in the Pickles increases our stamina, endurance, and ability to recover.
