I been beast-mode'ing The First Berzerker: Khazan over the weekend trying to finish it before the big PoE2 update
Game is fucking amazing; feels like a cross between Black Myth and Lies of P and runs perfectly; never hit a single crash or glitch (and I've put some serious hours in lmao)

I played Rust for the first time this weekend. Had a blast, but absolutely brutal, super toxic personalities abound. I expected this going in, so I didn't let my poor performance ruin my good time.

If anyone plays Balatro, I just had the weirdest win.
Using the abandoned deck (no face cards), I got space joker and blueprint really early which are nice mid game cards. Started to level up full house but I couldn't find any good cards to build mult or money. Ended up with a couple weak strength cards plus acrobat which does 3x on the final hand. So I would throw away my first few hands and then play full house with a 9x. Mid game I ran into the boss that draws $1 per hand and went $20 into debt. That meant I was only making about $1 per round so literally couldn't buy any new cards or packs all game. But somehow got the win!

Isn’t that alot like DayZ? I want to like DayZ. I usually do a DayZ play two or three times a year just to get that survival thing going wich the game does great. But I always avoid interacting or engaging with players wich kinda defeats the purpose but… I’m a loner
An introvert… can’t stand people irl… and people is the last thing I want to meet in a game about survival. But DayZ is the only game so far that has the right immersive feel. At least that’s avaliable on XBox.Going to try stalker 2 soon think.

DayZ definitely has a more "realistic" vibe, but Rust has a ton of game mechanics that let you play in vastly different ways. Resource farming, bee keeping, fishing, raising horses and chickens, growing hemp and berries, baking, along with selling the spoils of those activities provide non-violent ways to get rich in addition to traditional PVP action.Isn’t that alot like DayZ? Veilguard caught my attention just long enough for me to lose interest in Avowed, and then [Veilguard] turned into a total snoozefest (albeit a pretty one.) They're very similar games in a surprising number of ways, and when all's said and done, they're both pretty forgettable. For my tastes, Avowed has a little more heart, quicker pacing, better combat mechanics, and more compelling "Easter egg hunts" (what the game journalists are calling "environmental puzzling".) Veilguard has more coherent art direction (not "better graphics", necessarily - just less likely to suddenly look off-kilter because of oddly-proportioned geometry or lazy lighting) and more professional acting. Better production values overall.
Anyway, yawn. Nothing to play again. For now.

They nerfed it? It seems you have to play a game after the first few weeks for all the relaease bugs, then complete it within a month or two to play it before the nerf. I'm expecting First Berserker: Khazan to be nerfed soon.

Is Mizutsune in there yet? I haven't really followed the details, but I've always liked that one.
