No footswitches? I’m guessing it requires telekinesis? The display (scribble strip) actually makes the Boss GT’s look good.

At least tones sound decent.

This sounds a whole lot better than their attempt at a tube preamp. Dig the VH tone Pete dialled up.

Hi Guys,

Amy from Two notes here! Well, that's a little earlier than we'd planned but we're so glad to hear you're digging OPUS. If you have any questions, let me know! We're happy to help!
I'm definitely eager to see which preamp models this includes when it hits the shelves. ;)

Any plans to:

1) extend the model list via regular firmware updates in the future?

2) sell particular preamp models online, like you're doing with DynIR cabs?

Cheers

EDIT: Nice to see you on here. Finally! :D

Hi @dronerstone,

Thank you for the post and the welcome!

There are indeed more preamp models on the way via Free Firmware Updates! At this stage, we're not planning on reselling these, rather we want our legion of tone heads who invest in OPUS to get maximum bang-for-their-buck! :giggle:

Hmmmmm ..... I disagree with the comments re: "old" digital and "muddy" wound strings ..... these tones ... to my basic old ears sound like real Amps.

What are you gonna do :)

Hi @aivoryuk

There certainly is!
Hi Amy !

=> does this unit have full Midi PC / CC etc...... implementation in it (?) so all the different parameters, amps, amp settings, cabs, cab settings etc.... can all be controlled by an external Midi Device that sends Midi PC / CC etc... (?)

=> is the Power Supply connector a Standard Connector or is it proprietary (?)

=> how big is the external P/S "brick" relative to the size of the unit (?)

Ben

This looks interesting. I'm trying to find a product page for it though?
