Tonex, ended up sucking for me.

So Iā€™m no expert. Any of this is free to be questioned

i guess you are a little girl and need help from other people. You'll notice he only ever laugh reacts my posts that put the Kemper last :rofl:rofl
Jim Lil says the same thing, but does an actual analysis and brings the receipts and puts a lot of dumb myths like tonewood, speaker cabinet magic and microphone religions in their coffins.

I'm not sure about some of the stuff in this article but I don't see anything glaring

I was hoping for a full Amplitube modeler with Tonex tech but it appears this will be out soon. Roughly $199Usd
TONEX One
This was leaked on a website but have since taken it offline

Meh. Fractal UI is moderately cumbersome. But not the disjointed ā€œwe had five different groups working on the five different parts of this product, and none of the groups ever once picked up the phone to talk to the other groupā€ chaos of IK stuff.
You just described the NDSP philosophy

Iā€™m not super deep on NDSP, but it seems more like they have a bunch of different products and maybe not a lot of cross-communication amongst each product dev team, where IK has the issue within a single product.

Reactions: SKU
If you guys want a NAM quality tone portable, just buy an amperium live, the format in NNM, its the same, same sound, same response and even effects.

actualiy i dont engage with what you say because i dont give a damn what you say

that article sucks,

An MIR analysis of real amp versus captures and profiles

Tuned out on the article when it called the distance between 500 and 1000hz the same as between 10k and 10.5k

It ainā€™t 500 to 1 k is one octave.
10k to 10.5 k is a 20th of an octave.
That be akin to the difference between 500 and 525 hz

did you look at the article that was quoted from?

In the context of the article, itā€™s making the exact same point you are - that 500hz + 500hz is very different to 10kHz + 500hz.

I cut out when it said folks couldnā€™t hear the difference from 10 to 10.5 as well as 500 to 1kā€¦doh

Just when I thought I was out, they sucked me back in!. I have another tonex coming supposedly tomorrow FedEx is telling me.

I had problems last time with the software killing my tonex Max and reverting to Tonex CS, so I sold the pedal.

The darn thing just sounds so good. I was listening to some recordings over the weekend and said, screw it order another one. While I was at it I decided I would order a source audio Collider to go along with it. Hopefully they'll come in tomorrow.

Probably, just go ahead and shoot me now!

I would like to know how to capture another modelers preset sound! I have captured amps and cabs as well as pedals, but no clue how to capture another digital device!
