This unit looks fun

Somehow though I don’t feel this unit will sell very well.

It will sell, but it seems a bit niche to really sell a ton of units. It's not something that inspires me to go out and impulse buy one, but I'm pretty old school about this stuff. Whenever BOSS introduces a new delay, though, I'm as attentive as a teenager seeing his first pair of titties.

I understand and wonder if each of the effects is as good as boss?

Not really ticking any boxes for me. I'd probably be more inclined to pick up something like a Chase Bliss Mood Mk II, or a Hologram Effects Microcosm, for something along these lines although its' probably like comparing apples to oranges. None of the modulation effects really stood out, to me.

I have many delay and reverb pedals (being that they're my favorite effect and the most likely ones I would purchase); so I feel I already have my bases covered, there.

I love Walrus products and have several of them. My favorite of theirs, and one of my favorite stereo reverbs, so far, is the Sloer. It's equally at home with guitars as well as keyboards.

I can wholeheartedly vouch for the Sloer. Sounds glorious, especially in stereo, where it really comes alive :-).

Edit - huge fan of Yvette Young. Saw her demo video of the R1 Reverb and bought one almost immediately after :-). Same with Universal Audio's DelVerb and Galaxy.

Pedals really are an addiction for me, but one I can live with. There are worse addictions one can have :|.

Here is Mark Johnston's video demo of the Etherealizer.

...and Yvette Young, herself, with "The Captain", from That Pedal Show, demoing the unit at the NAMM show (which I, somehow, always manage to miss. Maybe next year..?):

The black version is easier for my eyes to see what’s on it.🍺

449 US dollars from Sweetwater.
£449 from Andertons .
Nice US to UK conversion rate 🤪
I felt the same way, when I realized they had a Black version.

For my eyes, the Black one just l looks more slick and professional, aside from having the easier-to-read labeling.

I just prefer the non-busy look of the all-Black one. Not to say I don't like Walrus' artwork on some of their pedals. I love their Fathom and the Blue version of the Sloer (both of which I have and love).

I guess they're selling pretty quickly (?). Sweetwater seem to have both colors back-ordered, for the time being.

Zzounds appear to have both colors in stock at the moment. I've bought dozens of pedals through them, during the past five years or so and have been really pleased with their service and easy, interest-free, no credit needed payment plans. Companies like this helped me re-build my credit to where it is now (in really good shape), while also allowing me to get some nice equipment quickly.

Maybe it does too much in 1 pedal to do each one great? You know jack of all trades master of none??? I too like rvb and delay best in effects and would prefer 2 seperate masters of these maybe
