Looks like they hired some new bean-counter who wants to find a new candy vendor, but in the meantime, this is all they have left out in the warehouse!
I think they have a lot of turnover there. Just my opinion, based on the fact that every time I buy something (over 10 or so years), I've had 3 different ones. I doubt new guys make much money.

I had the same guy for probably 15 years. I wanted someone different because my guy never cut me any deals. I finally got someone new last year because my guy supposedly got promoted to a different area of the business. She is no better than he was. I only buy from them now when something I want is on sale. It isn't worth the time to ask my rep for a deal. I gave her a try on a couple of things and she was nowhere close to the deals I got through Reverb offers by just putting something in my watch list. I even went back to her and told her they missed the sales and told her the prices I got the items for. All I heard after that was excuses and how they provide free support with every purchase. I told her to look in her system and see how many times I have used their support and she will find no records.

I've tried the same thing with the same results. I've never bought anything major from them for that very reason. Last time I tried was on a EBMM Kaizen and they came off just a tiny bit. I told them they weren't even close to 2 other prices, and he shot back that they'd sold 3 that month.
Must be the financing is all I can think of. Oh well.
They get a commission and a price breaķ cuts into their check, but they don't really care much about guitar, amp, and pedal sales. Designing sound systems and recording setups for churches, venues, etc are much more important to them.
