I ate 3 of these yesterday and turned into a zombie for the rest of the night. First 2 hours it hit me I was talking myself down from a panic attack, then I was just dumb in the head. Woke up today still dumb in the head, so I'm getting bass tracks done. :rofl

That's why I tend to steer clear of edibles. I just never know how they are going to hit me,
and/or for how long.

Yeah, I was definitely getting the mushroom-like effects and none of them being the good ones. :rofl My stomach was going apesh*t and some of the dissociative effects were present, when those kicked in it was time to get chill on the couch for a while. I’ve had a few instances of edibles kicking my ass, this was the first time I‘ve ever felt like “Oh sh*t, I took too much”, usually I just get really high and I can’t open my eyes all the way. I couldn’t imagine if someone sat down and ate more than 3 of these, that’d be a trip to the hospital. :ROFLMAO:
 
Stopped at the Dispo today. I am not a daytime partaker---unless on vacation. Too much
shit to do and it can turn "Dave" into a bit of a slacker, so I save my tokes for nighttime.

Snagged some Durban Poison. I tend to lean towards the Kushes, but am on a bit of a
Sativa kick of late. :chef

I’m definitely a hybrid guy, sativas can sometimes get me a bit paranoid if they come on too strong. Those damn Cheetos have to be a sativa. I ate one Monday afternoon and it was perfect, but I was well prepared for it. Ripped all night without smoking a single thing! That’s the one benefit of edibles, they last a long ass time.
 
durban poison is one of my favs.

got 2 ozs for 79 bucks last weekend. its pretty good, not great obviously but it works. put some keef or hash in there and its way better lol.

there are lots of dispos around here. its funny they troll each other. went past one last night and one of their competitors rented a huge billboard literally right behind their property, you can see it clearly from basically anywhere you can see their building. hahaha
 
went to a newer dispo last night near my house. got 5 grams of different sugars and waxes for 50 bucks and a gram a kief for another 10 and it was 20% off bc it was my first time there. i should have bought more lol. the kief is really really good. makes that cheap flower taste so good and hits you right behind your temple/forehead kinda like good hash does. also got a shirt that says just DAB it bc those are the initials of my band so i had to.


its funny. they have a drive through and told me about it. i was like yeah i must be a weirdo but i kinda like coming into the store lol. brings out the 16 year old in me that always wanted to walk into a store and see a bunch of different pot products i could buy. i didnt really like curbside during covid either, picking from a menu is not the same.

shits going crazy with prices though, not sure it will last but am not complaining haha. those same grams i got last night were like 30 or 40 bucks when the stores first opened so they have come down in price quite a bit.

Grams at our dispensaries can be had for $8-15 per gram, less if you have a medical card. There are some fantastic strains available…

Just grabbed some of that a couple of weeks ago, and it immediately ascended into top 5 status. :banana

It's the Pot version of a Gold Rush here in Michigan now. A LOT of these dispos and growers will not
last. There is more Heerb than users right now.

Once the competition is "weeded" out and some find they can't make a profit on these low margins
we'll see the prices go back up. Regulators and the Bog Boys in the Pot industry will find a way to
guarantee that happens. Too much competition is bad for profits, and people want profits from Pot.
 
i just smoke to go to sleep. i used to get high but these days i am so busy i can't really enjoy being high. maybe one day in the future...

Our problem is the Native Americans seem to have control over the sale of it, similar to casino ownership.

Funny, you go to the res to buy your grass, and there isn't a single Native American working...

Anywhere from $50-80 an 1/8th.
No competition when they are the only ones who are legal to sell...

fuck with prices like that the i'd imagine the black market is going to be doing well for a while. kinda was the same here though, when it first became legal the prices were much higher than they are now.

The wealthy have finally gotten around the "casino" situation, I imagine the legal sale of grass for everybody is coming as well.

I don't believe the Native Americans are going to keep NYS from reaping the benefits of this taxation much longer.
However, this is just my opinion.
 
I recently decided to get back into it after an almost 30 year hiatus but after trying a few different strains and some edibles I decided it's really just not for me. Nothing against it, I believe it's a great drug and should be globally legalized.
 
Count me in the "not for me but should be legalized" group. It doesn't have any positive effects on me, just amps up anxiety and makes me feel physically ill. I also don't like the smell.

I think too many put it as this miracle drug that cures all ailments but there are real negative effects to it that should also be discussed. Just like people who become aggressive when drinking should not drink alcohol, some people should not smoke pot.

Yeah I quit many years ago due to the anxiety. I discovered that certain strains do it. I could not have anything with Sativa in it even a hybrid. Ended up with Indica and no anxiety but it made me lose all my energy and motivation and my motor skills went to hell. Gave all the rest of it to my brother in law. Eh I wanted to see if it gave me any pleasure at all and it just made me feel weird instead.
