LOL, Eddie said in an interview he cut the piece of that destroyer's lower body off for a photo shoot and the guitar never sounded right again. I've never gotten wanting gear that looks like it belongs to someone else.

I do find it funny that they'd release a replica of a guitar Eddie said sounded terrible because of it's physical design which they copied, though.

In fact he refused to record with that guitar again and borrowed an OG Destroyer for a subsequent album when he wanted to 'destroy' some more. I guess he did play it live occasionally because it looked cool, though.

I heard Phil McKnight say that stuff like that is better thought of as memorabilia. It will mean a lot to someone, but not necessarily to be playing it.
