Stuff I am interested in or would like to see

A dual cortex with 6 switches encoders
One signal path, same touch screen perhaps slightly smaller , and a new power supply that would be of interest

Fractal never goes to Namm but the FM0 would be a cool new product for 2024

Line6 -have stated a million times no replacement for Helix for a long time , so if they release another HX product it would have to be in the current line up
Like a new HX FX 2 or a powered rack .

Revv, I am curious to hear their new G50 which is basically a Generator 100p
But w the two notes stuff
Reverb gate , apprently it’s a
It’s a revoiced purple channel and they are using EL34s for the first time ,

Synergy -the new lunchbox that leaked

I don't now if anyone has mentioned / speculated this already ...... but I would bet money / slam dunk ... that IK are going to release a "full" Floorboard modeler ... using the Amplitude Amps and EFX with a Tonex Player block ..... its just such an obvious no brainer that I cant imagine it *not* happening.

They would release it with a good selection of amps / efx / tonex patch's ... and then "up-sell" individual amps and efx etc... for people to purchase from the IK store.

I'd actually be stunned if this *wasn't* announced at NAMM in a couple of weeks.

Ben " I have no inside information of any kind " Ifin
I don't know the details but, afaik, an all in one tonex multifx is already in some profiler's hands.

Curious ... why ?

If I were IK .... looking around at the QC, KPA, Helix, Axe / FM9 ..... this is such an "easy" decision .... they already have all the amp and efx algorithms ...... they already have the Tonex Software algorithms .... and they know how to put the Tonex into hardware ... the floor pedal has no need to *do* the capturing as that is done via PC so it just needs to *play* Captures ......the only thing they need is a "metal box and processors" to do it ...... the hard part .... being the Amp / EFX / Capturing algorithms is already done ?????

Mind you ...... the Editor / UI is also extremely important ... and that - relatively speaking compared to all the other units - *is* something they seem to have *no idea* about !

Ben
i could see it eventually happening. I just don't think they would have something like that ready yet. Let's see.

I would love to see a complete overhaul of the Yamaha Pacifica line. If they ever release the Paul Hindmarsh model as a regular version, I would buy it immediately.
Would love to see them return to their hey day of the late 80's. Like my collection. Wish I had the set necks from the 1200 or 1500 series. Killer guitars from the 500 series up.

I’ll be ROTFLMAOAOTP for a month straight if NDSP releases any new hardware right now or the foreseeable future. :rofl

I don't think anything "big" is coming from L6 at NAMM.

Not to blame them, at all - they released the HX One regardless of trade shows. As sad as it might sound, but imho, NAMM is obsolete in this day and age.

The internet took its place. Worked fine during the pandemic, after all. No need for huge and expensive meetups or business trips anymore.

I think a Helix (but particularly an HX Stomp) with more horsepower would be cool, without obsoleting the current hardware. IE a Stomp that could not only run 8 blocks, but any 8 blocks. Right now, I don’t think you can run a Klon, Prince of Tone, an amp, IR, modulation, delay, and reverb and compressor without running into DSP issues.
I think we’d all be okay if @Digital Igloo has to go back on his word and they put out some Helices with more DSP. We know it’s not innovative, but it’s a scenario where more might be more.

I've gotta say, I've missed way more product launches in the last year or two than I ever did pre-2020. Like Soldano Astro? Knew nothing about it until people started talking about the new Synergy Lunchbox in relation to it yesterday.

They way you find out about these things nowadays is to follow a couple of YouTube guitar "influencers". They all usually drop a sponsored video at the exact same time.

Agree about NAMM losing a lot of its luster lately.

(1). I aint got time for that shit
(2). Even if you follow a couple YouTube influencers, you catch the big product releases (Nobody was gonna miss the TMP) but the weird, esoteric, kinda smaller stuff...not so much.
