You can change the BPM of a MIDI file in a DAW if these don't work for ya!

These were from random MIDI's I found in my computer, I didn't add anything to them and you might hear a choked cymbal or something odd in them as I did not listen to them all the way through, I just ran them through appropriate sounding kits in Super Drummer 3 and bounced them down. I will do these for the next round or so while everyone is getting their feet wet, but then I'm going to ween ya'll off the teet.

All submissions equal 1 point. The weekly and bi-weekly challenges will run for 8 weeks, points will be tallied and listed at the end of each week. If you're the winner, you can screenshot it and send it to your wife, husband, best friends, random people on Twitter, wherever you want. Or, if someone has something they would like to submit to a winner; a pack of strings, some picks, a Barbie that's missing an arm and has no clothes, a power supply, a pedal you don't use anymore but it's not worth selling, anything except items that contained bodily fluids, feel free to submit it.

Overall, the point system is to act as a marker for your consistency. The challenge is to push yourself to do a little more than your normal thing, some of you will have to learn how to use a DAW, some of you will have to look at less porn and play more guitar, some are going to have to feel some kind of 'structure' to remain consistent. This is already in the Member Clips subforum, that's why this is a challenge and not just a link to the subforum!

Thank you all who are going to take part in this! I'm looking forward to see the turnout!

This is the official dropping of the green flag, I figure 40 minutes early won't hurt anyone and I want to play my damn guitar instead of typing. :rofl

Hey! Looks I'm first for the Bi-weekly lol... Is this still a thing? Anyway, I went with the "Metal" drums and slowed it down a bit. I used my Fryette Ultralead boosted by a Fortin modded Ibanez TS9 :chef

F*ck yeah, reminds me a bit of Mastodon here and there! You’re going to smoke everyone in this challenge!!! You’re a riff beast, man!!! Nothing bad or mediocre comes from your hands!

Mother FAKA! does it again. Is there a secret and sacred ritual you use to summon those riffs!?!

Crazy good man! :headbang
Thanks @la szum as for secret sauce, it's called hurry the fck up and rush it out before my wife gives me that "are you done making all that fkn noise" look  seriously though I just play the supplied drum track at different speeds while i'm plugged in and see if anything sticks. I usually hum out my riffs in my head or out loud then try to figure them out on guitar... thats my usual approach. 🤙

Do more with less? 2 songs in a week on an iPad? Man... leave some cool accomplishments for the rest of us... :rofl

I paid for it though...up till 2 am to do the songs (started at 11 pm) and at 4:15 am discovered our 2 year old had turned on all the lights on in the kids' room and the kitchen and was trying to make himself a peanut butter sandwich!! :facepalm:wat

Damn, I have the feeling I know who’s going to be at the top of all the challenge lists!
Nah dude, there is no way I can put in this many recordings under normal circumstances... I took a week off and did whatever over the last week after not taking any PTO for over a 1 1/2. Sadly I have to go back to real life next week and will probably only have time for recording on the weekends. It was fun while it lasted though 🤙
