I don't have any myself, (but I do like them), but seeings how musicians and tats sort of go together, I'm kinda surprised we don't yet have a thread dedicated to showing them off.

I’ve got a pretty lame dragon covering most of the upper half of my left arm that I got when I was 18…. Also have the EQD skulloptopus on my right foot I got around the same time

Maybe will post a pic of the latter after trimming my toenails lol

Also got that one around the same time. 12+ yrs later definitely want some more but want some much more high quality and thought out stuff now that my frontal lobe is fully developed haha

It could just my memory, or my sample size..., but seems to me "back in the day" there wasn't nearly as much color as there is now.

Pretty sure you're right. I think there are just more inks available now that maybe weren't around back then? My wife has a full back tattoo up to her neck hairline of a phenix with crazy swirls and clouds, lots of color. It's a piece of art. It extends around her left shoulder and goes slightly down her chest and turns into a dragon. Pretty crazy.
An artist named Todo did it, he's done work on rockers like Ozzy and Slash, Aerosmith guys, and others. Super talented dude.

My late grandfather was absolutely covered in tats from his navy days in the 30s-50s pretty much all in blue or black ink

I have a purple+red dual color, 1 inch x 1 inch sized dolphin on my calf. I got it when me and my then gf had celebrated being together for 2 years, on her insistence. She got her ears pierced on the same day.

I don't wanna get any more tattoos.

I have a small tribal sun on my back, I'll try to post a pic but it looks like shit with all the sun damage living in FL all my life except 7 years in GA. Someone here may even recognize where it came from and I got it during a pretty low time in my life. Wanted to get more but never got around to it, so that's it.
