Sweetwater now carries... Suhr *

Can't even begin to comprehend the number of times I've been ready to buy a guitar, and, WITHOUT FAIL - each time, Sweetwater was backordered. There was one time where one was supposedly "acclimating in the warehouse" - but that suddenly became "sold".

It's to the point where it's just comical and I go look just to laugh, and I ain't been disappointed yet!

I had a particular 2005 Fender EJ Strat that, after years of searching, I considered to be the best sounding and playing Strat I had ever played.

I played a friends Suhr for a few shows and by the end I had to grudgingly admit it sounded and played even better than my EJ.

I started shopping for one but in the end decided against it because nobody (not even John himself) could tell me if the SSCII system would work with the hearing loop system in a venue I played at.

I still think they’re great guitars, but there is no way I would ever pay $3,299 for one. They’ve reached the same status as EBMM for me: great guitars, but not worth the asking price

Adds too much weight to the guitar imo.

I agree. I took it off of one of my Teles and planing on putting it in a pedal to test if it will work with any guitar that way. The principal operation is so simple.

This noiseless system does take away a bit of the bright bite from the single coils. So it is not 100% transparent.

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I ran across a really nice blue Suhr strat on the used wall of GC. They wanted $1400, and that was too much for my wallet in those days. Shoulda made the stretch....it's the only Suhr I ever gelled with.

Isbell has won six Grammy Awards, maybe its just you.

Whats a scammy award worth these days ? Another dumble lol.
Id destroy that dewd not that i care.
I believe the scammy award EVH tribute video after he died was all of 30 seconds or less.
Gibson marketing leeches latch onto anything they can and hope for blood.
Can you tell me why Princess Isabell's sig LP is $21,000 F-ing dollars ?
Is it because he uses dumble grease on his nards ?
Never heard any of his songs. Only thing i saw was his "rig rundown" video just a Nashville kid trying to be famous.
I hang my hat on Waylon & Willie, Elvis & Johnny Cash. All they needed is talent.
Stuff the overblown gear.

MONEY CAN'T BUY CLASS OR TALENT.

Like I said, I'd rather watch paint paint dry than go to jason isbell show but to deny his talent and widespread appeal is objectively.... silly. to put it politely

I seriously doubt he personally chose the price point of the CS model

Jason has nothing to do with the price of the guitar, Gibson is pushing this price to taste the waters for future LPs aimed at those wealthy and stupid enough to pay for them.

Another scam by Gibson that most likely be successful.

Jay got a nice Gibby check for that. Thats how endorsements work.
I don't like posers with no credo. Especially ones that try to sel 25,000 guitars [with tax].
For that dough id buy a Gary Rosseington or Rick Neilson sig. Because in 5 decades they earned it.
Got to stand for something or fall for anything.
